Daily Mom

We are a team of fun loving, web combing, baby wearing moms and dads who saw a need for a website where we could share all the useful tips we come across daily. Modern mothers need one place where they can learn how to raise a baby, cook a meal, build a fire, save some money and then spend it, and do it all while looking perfect and being green. Ok, who are we kidding? It would be impossible, but we still try. Daily Mom will bring to you everything that can be of use to any mom and mom-to-be. We are here to educate, laugh with you, and make your lives easier (or harder depending on how many crafts you decide to do).

While it is tempting to exhaust yourself with cute things for your baby and get lost in the endless diapers and laundry, make sure that you set your child up with a strong educational base. Thankfully, this base is created in thoughtfully selected educational playtime that will foster a love of learning from the beginning.

There are a lot of things that come to mind when someone says “Mom Life.” You have visions of messy buns, leggings, runs to Walmart, lots of coffee and wine and not enough sleep. “Mom Life” means working hard to provide for your family while still caring for everyone, and oftentimes, putting yourself last. Some parts of “Mom Life” are left over from the ultimate event in motherhood, pregnancy. My 4 Month Old Cheated Death Three Times- And Here’s Why She’s Still Alive

This article was originally featured on San Diego City Moms Blog

Our daughter came unexpectedly at 35 weeks. My pregnancy wasn’t the easiest of the 4- my blood pressure was an issue after 25 weeks causing me to have to do ante-natal appointments once a week after 30 weeks with week 35 being the most eventful after being told my blood pressure was dangerously high and they needed to risk a premature baby to ensure I was safe. But our little Brooklynn was born perfectly healthy, happy and strong – a strength we didn’t know she would need more than anything else.

How to Stop Snoring and Sleep Better

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for Good Morning Snore Solution. We have been compensated through the SheSavvy Influence Network. All opinions remain our own.

As a parent, the absolute last thing in the world you need to deal with is losing a minute of precious sleep. Your sleep is already severely limited, especially with a new baby or young child. Heck, when your kid is a teenager we suspect you stop sleeping well from worrying about them coming home before curfew safely. No matter what stage of life you are currently in, there are lots of things that can affect your sleep. While you can’t do much about a baby waking you up or fretting over a 17 year old, if snoring (by either you or your partner) is disrupting your night, you can deal with that problem. Several of us here at Daily Mom have dealt with snoring messing with our sleep, and we know how frustrating it can be.

Summer is almost over and a lot of us are finally dreaming about the cooler season of fall. Pumpkin spice everything, boots, scarves, and warm apple cider are just a few of the daily daydreams you may be having as you pack up your inflatable pool and pull out the fire pit. For many places in the United States, fall is one of the few times during the year where everyone actually wants to be outside. And even though you probably spent a fair share of time outside this summer, this time you don’t have to worry about bugs, humidity, or sunburns. Fall is the time to get the kids outside before it gets too cold, so why not create a backyard that both you and the kids (and probably some other kids from the neighborhood) can enjoy before winter cabin fever sets in!
