Cocoagraph‘s main product is the “life-size” chocolate. This is a 3.5″ high chocolate onto which you can a print square or rectangular photo. There’s also an option for bite-sized chocolates which are 1.75″ high and also come in square and rectangular sizes.

You also have the choice to include a white frame as well as a custom message printed at the bottom for a Polaroid-style edible chocolate photo! These options look great and enhance the vintage feel of the print.

The Chocolate

The chocolate comes from Guittard Chocolate Co., a nearby local family owned company. Their chocolate is Fair Trade and they use cocoa beans that are Rainforest Alliance Certified. The photo portion of the chocolate is made of a thin, edible layer made with food coloring and frosting paper. All of the chocolate is gluten-free. There are a wide variety of customizations you can make to the chocolate to suit every palette. Choose from milk, white, or 72% dark chocolate, or go organic with your choice of milk or dark chocolate. Then add that little something extra with dried strawberries, dried raspberries, salted almonds, sea salt, or coffee bean crumble.

My husband and I used Cocoagraph chocolate to announce that we were expecting, and they were a smash! How does the chocolate taste? Delicious! We tried the 72% dark chocolate and it was definitely hard not to eat them all out of the box straight-away. Even my husband who claims to be missing a sweet tooth, remarked how good they were and asked for another.

Ordering

Ordering is easy. Simply upload a photo (iPhone photos make great Cocoagraphs), crop, and choose your chocolate and add-ins and voilà! If you encounter any issues ordering, customer service is prompt and personal. Be sure to order in advance, as all the chocolates are hand made!
