The Latest Toys from ABC Kids Expo 2014

Daily Mom recently returned from the 2014 ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada – the world’s premier trade show for children’s products. Two of our editors spent long days scouring the floor for the best new products for kids, babies, and parents. We’ve already shared with you the latest and greatest when it comes to strollers and now it’s time for the toys. Get ready to expand that Christmas shopping list!

Bumbo

Bumbo, makers of the beloved Bumbo baby seat, is rolling out a line of new toys and trays with activities that attach to the Bumbo seat. We love the adorable animals that can suction on to any tray or table and the activity arch that is at the perfect height for baby to play with while sitting in their Bumbo.

Tegu

Tegu showed off their new Magnetron blocks: robots, tanks, rockets, and cars. These wood covered magnetic blocks offer hours of creative play.

Evenflo

Evenflo has a new Exersaucer that turns from an infant entertainer to a toddler play area.

Nici Wonderland

Nici Wonderland’s adorable line of cloth dolls are every little girl’s dream!

Little Colorado

Little Colorado is a small company that makes solid wood and low emission MDF toys and great toy chests. We loved the music table with percussion instruments.  Toy washing machines and kitchens are usually very hard to find in solid wood and Little Colorado creates them beautifully.

HABA

HABA continues to offer many great games for kids, including a fun, brightly colored sorting game with wooden pegs and circles (above left) and perfect first games for 2 year olds that include dice rolling and sorting (above right). HABA’s cork board with fun shapes and a wooden hammer and tacks are perfect for kids (under adult supervision) who love to practice their precision skills.

For the younger ones, we loved HABA’s plush toad that you can feed different sea creatures like fish, crab, octopus, etc. – such a great discovery game for babies. They also showed off a fun and colorful cart for toting your toys around.

Hape

Hape’s wooden kitchen features a rolling cart and a chalkboard and will last through many years of play.

Infantino

Infantino offers some new alternatives to the ever popular Sophie the Giraffe in different animal characters.

Tiny Love

Tiny Love has developed a really awesome crib entertainment system that can be flipped from day to night and can be used as an overhead mobile or crib-side entertainment.

The Super Mat by Tiny Love now comes in a fun world design, offering your baby a comfortable, safe place to play.

Tiny Love also showed off a colorful play gym that quickly converts for tummy time entertainment.

Solvej

Toddler and baby swings by Solvej are beautifully crafted from wood and canvas and can be used indoors or outdoors.

MAM

MAM is now offering a line of completely customizable pacifiers. You can choose from several colors and have your baby’s name or a special phrase printed on them. They come packaged in a nice gift box, making them perfect for a baby shower gift!

Chewbeads

Chewbeads has a new line of MLB pacifier clips that are non-toxic and safe for babies to sport all day long (and chew on, of course!).
