How To Clean Your Jewelry Naturally & Save Money

Cleaning your silver jewelry can be time consuming and expensive. Top of the line jewelry cleaning solutions can cost over $20 a bottle, and are filled with unnecessary toxic chemicals. If you want to clean your silver with all natural ingredients found in your kitchen pantry and save money on expensive cleaners, look no further! The following is a simple and quick process that will have your silver shining once again and keep your wallet full.

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of white vinegar
  • 1 T of salt
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • a sheet of tin foil
  • a bowl

Simply line the bowl with the sheet of tin foil, shiny side up. Combine the salt and Baking Soda in the bowl.

Slowly pour in the white vinegar – mixing thoroughly so that there are no harsh grains left.

 Pour in the boiling water and place your silver jewelry in the mixture. Let sit as little or as long as needed.

Remove the silver and polish with a soft cloth.
