How To: Make Vinegar Smell Better

Do you love cleaning with vinegar, but hate the smell?

Well, here is a quick and easy solution to that problem, that leaves your house smelling like clean citrus, rather than like you just got done dying Easter eggs.

  • Scrub some citrus fruitwith baking soda and water to remove dirt, pesticides and anything else that may be on the skin.
  • Cut off the skin, and place it in a glass jar.
  • Pour distilled white vinegar on top, and store it for upwards to 4 weeks, or until the vinegar starts smelling like citrus to your liking.
  • Make sure you shake the jar a few times while you are waiting for it.
  • Strain it and transfer it into a spray bottle for around the house!How To: Make Vinegar Smell Better 1 Daily Mom, Magazine For Families{Photo Courtesy: The Memoirs of Megan}
