Apple Cider Sangria

A crisp fall twist on a summer classic, with fall-fresh apples and pears as the star!

  • One Bottle White Wine (like Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 1/2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1 cup club soda or lemon-lime soda for a sweeter taste
  • 3 red apples (chopped)
  • 3 pears (chopped)

Mix all ingredients together in a large pitcher and stir to combine. Refrigerate for at least an hour (or longer!) and serve well chilled. Makes 4-6 servings.

Warm Hot Toddy

A slight twist on the winter classic drink. By adding the tea, it becomes the perfect drink for a cold fall night and can really help with any cold-weather stuffies and congestion you have! You can vary it by using different flavors of tea, too.

  • 1 1/2 oz. brandy, rum or whisky
  • juice of a 1/4 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tea bag (we used english breakfast)

Coat the bottom of your mug with the honey and then pour in your liquor and lemon juice. In a separate glass, make a cup of tea with the tea bag and hot water. When it’s your desired strength, pour in with the liquor and lemon mix. Stir and enjoy! Makes one cocktail.
