A Savior for Stinky, Sockless Feet

Socks are like straitjackets for feet, and finding a pair that doesn’t bunch up or have annoying toe seams is near impossible. No wonder kids act like rabid squirrels when forced to wear them. Adults get the option of going sock-free thankfully, and most casual shoes nowadays would look downright dorktastic with them anyway. There is just one teeny, tiny problem with going sock-commando: the putrid stench that comes from sockless feet. It’s awful… not to mention embarrassing!

Foot Petals to the Rescue!

Just when you thought you’d have to settle for a lifetime of foul-feet shame, Foot Petals Sock-free Saviors came along with the solution for funky odor control. These insoles are made of antimicrobial material that fights pungency at the source. Their perforated design helps keep feet ventilated, cool, and dry. Plus, they provide great cushioning without being bulky.

Trim to Fit and Insert into Shoes

At first glance, these babies almost don’t seem formidable enough to handle the insurmountable task: allow one to go sans socks all day long without creating an odor that could fell an elephant with a single sniff. They’re lightweight and provide premium PORON® shock-absorbing cushioning, and they come in a standard size that is easily trimmed with scissors to fit sneakers, flats, boots, or any other closed toe shoe. You just place your foot on the backside of the insole to determine the size you need, then use the guidelines printed on the cushion to trim off any excess. All that’s left to do is slip them into your favorite shoes with the fabric side up.

Now Try Them Out!

Once the Foot Petals Sock-free Saviors are properly installed, you’re ready to go! No more fitting-room fiascos during which you blame weird smells on the kids! No longer will you be forbidden from kicking off your shoes under your desk for fear of being labeled the office jerk for stinking up the place! After a long day on your feet, no foul odor! Just normal feet smell… you know, a sock-wearer’s normal. Best of all, they are machine washable, and their cushioning does not go flat. So if they need freshening up, you can toss them in your machine’s gentle cycle in cold water, lay them flat to dry, and it will be like having a brand new pair, because the antimicrobial coating doesn’t wash away.

National Walk to Work Day

National Walk to Work Day on April 1st will be the perfect opportunity to put the Foot Petals Sock-free Saviors to the ultimate test! Americans are encouraged to walk to work, or at the very least, take a walk during their lunch breaks or another time of the day. Walking rather than driving, when possible, not only promotes an active lifestyle, but it lowers emissions (and with these insoles, you can include your feet’s emissions, too). Walking as little as 30 minutes a day can greatly improve your health, and not having malodorous feet may significantly improve your social life and self-esteem.

My walk to work is constant and usually in a sketcher’s slid on tennis shoe that I do not wear socks with.

I love the Walk to Work initiative! I try to walk as much as possible. Honestly, it’s easier than getting my toddler in her car seat sometimes. :). Since I’m a stay at home mom, I’ll make a plan to walk to the supermarket on the day of.
