Masala
A Hindi term used to describe something that comprises a varied mixture of elements.

The term masala represents so many aspects of the Masala Baby brand. It’s the harmonious mixture of patterns, colors, and textures that blend easily with comfort and style in children’s clothing. They draw inspiration for their signature colors by things such as rose petals, turmeric, a sprig of saffron, or a dash of indigo. They utilize the world around them to create clothing for babies and children that is beautiful and made with love.

As a brand, Masala Baby uses the cultural influences of India, teamed up with a modern style and fashion, so that the clothing can be beautiful all around the globe. Masala Baby’s home base is in Brooklyn, New York; the clothing is made in India and inspired by around the world.

Dresses:

Dresses are Masala Baby’s forte. The attention to detail is unmistakable, and we love the thoughtful details in the collection such as embroideries, prints, eyelets, and pom poms. Yet, the dresses never lack in comfort, and even your pickiest of children will love to wear their Masala Baby dress every day.

The Lilou Dress Java Turquoise is a beautiful new print, covered in hues of blue inspired by Bali. We love the cotton eyelet design on the front that looks like a delicate lace pattern, and your daughter will love the two side pockets. The rayon material dress is lightweight and breezy, perfect for those warm summer nights. The cotton eyelet makes the dress feel even more comfortable against the sensitive skin on her neck and chest. It’s also machine washable!

Hot Shorts:

Are you packing up for a family vacation or trip to the beach? Throw in a pair of Masala Baby’s cute hot shorts for little girls. They are a relaxed fit, in beautiful colors and fashions. They are also functional, with pockets and a button-fly closure.

We are suckers for a good seersucker in the summertime, so that’s why we love these Fringe Shorts Seer Sucker Stripe in Navy. They are 100% cotton, machine washable, and have a cute fringe detail on the outer side of the leg. Seer sucker print is also a very neutral pattern, so they will be a versatile staple in her summer wardrobe.

Tops:

Your little girl can be a true trendsetter in the lightweight and colorful tops from Masala Baby. If you’re in the market for a tunic style, classic tee, or tanks, Masala Baby has many options in colors, patterns, and styles.

We love the Mimi Top Java Navy because the Bali-inspired Java print is the perfect color and style to match with the Fringe Seer Sucker shorts, as well as many other styles and colored bottoms. It has small buttons that close in the front, and it is a rayon material that is cool, and also simple to machine wash and dry because it won’t wrinkle like many other materials.

Organic Pajamas:

Masala Baby is changing the way that you choose jammies for your kids, and upping the bar big time. All their pajamas feature the softest organic cotton, azo-free dye, flat lock seams so nothing will be uncomfortable and itchy, and they are stylish. They are stretchy and easy to move in and will help your child sleep soundly, wrapped in comfort that’s 100% natural and non-toxic. The happy colors and patterns are a fun bonus.

Since those summer nights don’t always warrant heavy sleepwear for your child, we love the Organic Kid’s PJs Short Sleeve in Jasmine Pink. They are machine washable, 100% organic cotton, and soft and snuggly. They are not sprayed with flame retardant chemicals either, or have any toxic chemicals in the coloring dye that is wrapped around them during their sweet sleep. The short sleeves are perfect for warmer nights, and the pants are comfortable with elastic covered in flat seams that aren’t too tight, but are secure and safely tight-fitting.

Swim:

Masala Baby offers swimwear that is cool, stylish, and comfortable, in a fun pattern and color mixing way that will make your little one really stand out and be unique while on the beach or at the pool. It’s the perfect combination of feminine, sporty, practical, and stylish. There are many different styles of each pattern available, from rash guards and shorts, to bikinis and modest one-pieces.

We really enjoy the sporty look of this Girl’s Racer Back Two Piece Set Ananya Floral Pink bathing suit. It’s perfect for those little active girls who love to run, skip, hop, and swim hard. You won’t have to worry about fussing with her bathing suit to make sure that it stays in place and covers her. She’ll love the girly and cute pattern, and you’ll love the fuller coverage and sporty vibe that this two piece suit gives.

Masala Baby’s Swim Cover-Ups line is full of sheer and gauzy fabrics that feature fun accents such as tassels, fringe, and crochet details. They have a draping style, with a comfortable fit, so she’ll love to throw it on over top her bathing suit for an effortless, fun in the sun look. The Anya Coverup is a crochet cover-up in a bold emerald color, with some fun tassel details and machine washable, 100% cotton fabric.
