Baukjen: Minimum Effort Maximum Style
Baukjen is a mid-priced, high quality women’s clothing line that originated in England. The company was founded by Baukjen de Swaan Arons, creator of the maternity line that we love: Isabella Oliver. Baukjen draws inspiration for her lines from London, which is reflected in simple, yet elegant styles, perfect for the modern mom. We especially love Baukjen’s loungewear, which is stylish yet comfortable for the busy mom. And when it comes to the office, we adore the understated and chic look of their workplace attire.
Baukjen’s Spring 2014 Line
This season, the collection focuses upon an effortless and pared back feel – mixing a clean and subdued silhouette with textural fabrics and beautiful layers of color; a more refined take on a minimal style. This aesthetic is echoed in the softened color palette, dusted blues and touches of metallic with pops of knocked back color and abstract prints.
