Luxuriously Healthy Beauty Products

When taking care of our health, we often think of what we eat. What about what we put on our skin? Our skin is the largest organ of our bodies and chemicals can permeate the skin layers and absorb right into our bloodstream. Thought should be given to the products we use on our skin because our skin literally drinks them right up!

Mainstream products such as lotion, deodorant and perfume typically contain a handful of controversial ingredients. In moderation they may not be proven harmful but what about using them every day, throughout your lifetime? Natural, healthy alternatives exist! We love Lavanila for it’s healthy ingredients and luxurious scents. You’ll fall in love, too!

The Ingredients List

Bath and beauty products have dizzying ingredient lists. Are these unpronounceable chemicals healthy for me? Some don’t have to include a detailed list at all, such as perfume, because it is a protected formula. Most deodorants contain Aluminum, and when applied to your skin every day, pose a cancer risk that is too scary to ignore. And what about what we put on our baby’s skin? We want that to be as pure and healthy as possible! Lavanila promises healthy ingredients. Take a look at the ingredients in The Healthy Deodorant, for example:

Aloe barbadensis leaf juice (Aloe juice, water/aqua), Propanediol (Corn derived), Zea mays (Corn) starch, Sodium stearate (Coconut derived), Silica, Carrageenan (Seaweed derived), Stearyl behenate (Coconut derived), Citrus medica limonum (Lemon peel oil), Inulin (Artichoke derived), Saccharomyces ferment, Alpha-Glucan oligosaccharide (Sugar derived), Yeast beta glucan, Lonicera caprifolium (Honeysuckle) flower extract, Usnea barbata (Lichen) extract, Valeriana officinalis root extract (Valerian), Hydrastis canadensis (Goldenseal) extract, Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea tree) flower/leaf/stem extract, Lycium barbarum fruit extract (Goji berry), Botanical fragrance blend.

Even if the ingredients in the list above don’t look familiar at first glance, seeing words like aloe juice, lemon, artichoke, honeysuckle and goji berry look a lot better than Cyclopentasiloxane, PPG-14 Butyl Ether, and Petroleum!
