It’s Actually OK To Have A Messy Home

You’re less judged than you realize. Where does this need to have the “house picked up” before friends or family come over come from? What was it your mother said (or MIL) to you that instills this cringing fear of OMG, the house is a mess and they’re coming over. First things first, messy is not the same as filthy. Messes tend to happen when children are running around daily and there’s a lovely collection of activity-induced materials strewn across the home. This is normal. Filth is literally like sludge, grime, pools and pools of dirt – an uncleanliness that can actually cause sickness. So let’s face it, Mom: Unless there’s a super-nanny-cleaner at the heels of your family members to pick up, dust off, wipe up, catch, prevent, and finally care enough till their dying day, having a messy home is simply: A part of a successful mom-life.

You slipped and fell in a restaurant.
You were rear ended at an intersection.
Your doctor prescribed medication and you had unpleasant side effects.
You tripped on a curb in the parking lot of a major retail chain.

Civil litigators have seen Plaintiffs panic when they realize, by filing a lawsuit, that sensitive information they’d rather leave in the past gets dredged upWhile there’s no question that a person who is legitimately injured because of someone else’s negligence should be compensated, you need to consider these 6 things first and ask yourself if a lawsuit is really worth it

Week 2 has arrived and it’s time to start organizing two major categories that some love and some hate: Food and Fitness. Summer is a great time to go through recipes and rework your meal planning strategy, so you’re all ready when school starts back up and family dinner nights can re-appear, but more organized and delicious than ever.

Sure, organizing the exercise part of your life probably should have happened months ago, unless you were on the ball and you’re already rocking your beach bikini body. But, it’s always a good idea to take a hard look at how you work out and hey, you may realize you need to tweak some parts of your routine or actually begin exercising for the first time in 10 years! There’s never a better time than now to start. So here we go.

Biker miraculously survives collision between a truck and car

This video gives new meaning to the phrase “seeing your life flash before your eyes”. This biker was in the middle of this horrible accident and witnessed a car and truck careening together. He walked away unscathed and lived to tell his story. Not only that, but he was able to go and help the man that almost ended his life. It is a true heroic act after a near fatal collision.

In an interview with the man, he told reporters that the red car was going at such a fast speed that when it collided with the truck, it was sent sideways nearly missing the biker.  If the car had been going a tad slower, it would have surely killed him.  The man had commented that he saw this whole scenario in slow motion and was actually able to think and make adjustments that saved him from injuries.  When the red car sped by him, he put his arm up to protect his head, got off the bike, and crouched down in anticipation of the collision.  His arm was the only part of his body hit by the truck, the rest of his body came away from this unharmed.  Working as an EMT had prepared him for situations like this and his first thought was to be sure the other driver was okay.

After watching this video, you just may re-think the idea of miracles. It is most definitely an eye opening experience and I am sure this man looks at life in a whole new light.
