Terms of Use:
- Parent or legal guardian must approve submission of the contestant’s photo(s). By submitting a photo, parent or legal guardian grants DailyMom.com (a Blue Ocean Media, LLC company) staff the right to publish submitted photo(s), child’s name, city, and any captions submitted on The Daily Mom website and/or marketing materials. Slight photo alterations may be made by our staff in order to fit properly on our site or email newsletters.
- Our contest rules are intended to offer fair contests; all submitted photos have an equal opportunity of being scored by our industry judges.
- Photos are judged with no discrimination towards gender, race, or age. All decisions are final.
- Photos containing nudity or children depicted in a derogatory or dangerous position will not be accepted. The Daily Mom staff reserves the right to refuse any photograph which they deem unacceptable.
- If a professional photo is submitted to our contests, The Daily Mom will not be held responsible for securing usage rights from the photographer. It is highly recommended that the parent or guardian receive rights to use the photo prior to contest submission.
- We announce winners approximately 15 days after we have selected the winning photos in each category. Winners are announced in our weekly newsletter and on the Web site. Winners receive notification via email.
- Our contests are void where prohibited by law. The contestants assume the total responsibility of knowing their local laws in regard to photo contests and are subject to any local, state, national, or international laws. The Daily Mom accepts no responsibility for making these individual legal determinations.
- Please ensure your information is completed accurately. The Daily Mom accepts photos of children 0-12 years old
- Each contest’s prize is provided by a sponsor. Daily Mom is not responsible for the promptness of communications between the sponsor and the winner in arranging for prize delivery. The winner will not hold Daily Mom for any miscommunication or failure of the sponsoring company to deliver the prize. All prizes are subject to stock availability.
