While on your getaway to San Antonio, be sure to check out the caves and sights at Natural Bridge Caverns!

The caves at Natural Bridge Caverns boast a 60 foot limestone bridge, under which are underground passages and the largest cave in Texas. With a variety of tours and adventures offered daily, you’re sure to find a once-in-a-lifetime family tour that won’t soon be forgotten!

One of the most awe-inspiring tours offered at Natural Bridge is the Hidden Passages Adventure Tour, which will allow you to hike, climb, crawl, rappel and explore the cave creations which have been thousands of years in the making. There are no handrails and no concrete walkways, so you’ll feel like one of the original explorers who found the cave many years ago.

Once outfitted with caving gear, you may choose to walk through an entrance to the cave, or be lowered down a 160-foot well shaft. You will travel approximately one mile, 230 feet below the surface and explore the cave which features soda straws, stalactites and stalagmites. This adventure is completely unforgettable and a must-do for families with teens (as the youngest age allowed in this tour is 13 years old).

San Antonio is truly the perfect place for a relaxing and fun vacation or staycation for the whole family.
