Accommodations

The first step in planning your family vacation at Grand Palladium’s all-inclusive property in Riviera Maya is to choose your accommodations. There are multiple options so you can choose what you need to make everyone comfortable. We stayed at the Grand Palladium White Sand Resort and Spa. The resort has 264 rooms, and you will feel at home, relaxed and comfy from the moment you check in. Choose between three types of rooms/suites:

The Junior Suites are centrally located on the grounds and are very spacious. These rooms have either a king size bed or two full-size beds. The views of the gardens, mangrove forest, and lake are so soothing. If you travel here as a couple without kids, stay in a junior suite with the open bath plan and enjoy a romantic jacuzzi right in the room. If you bring the kids, there are rooms with an enclosed bathroom. Enjoy coffee on the terrace before you start your day on the Rivera Maya.

The Suites all have a king sized bed and a separate lounge area with sofa. These rooms also have beautiful garden views. The sofa pulls out into a double bed so the kids can sleep there while Mom and Dad have the bedroom for themselves. This is a great option for a little privacy when your kids are not old enough to stay in their own room.

The Mayan Suites are the most luxurious of the accommodations at Grand Palladium. Here you will enjoy a ton of space that includes a private entrance from the exterior, a terrace with a kayak landing on the lake, hammocks, a king sized bed, jacuzzi, and outdoor Mayan shower. However, these suites are designed for adults only so you can’t stay here with the family.

Pick the accommodations that are right for you and start the countdown to the day you check in!

Dining and Drinks

The options for dining and drinks at Grand Palladium seem almost endless. And since this is an all-inclusive resort, you just pick what you feel like eating and enjoy. There are five buffet restaurants available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You are on vacation so enjoy a fun cocktail! There are swim up bars, beach bars, and even a sports bar. When it is time for dinner, you can eat at a buffet restaurant, but there are also nine thematic a la carte restaurants. Be adventurous and try some new cuisine during your visit to Grand Palladium. Mediterranean, Italian, authentic Mexican, and Japanese cuisine are just some of the choices. At every restaurant, there are choices you and your kids will love.

Natural Beauty All Around

Riviera Maya is a gem on Mexico’s northeastern Yucatán Peninsula. The beaches here along the Caribbean are unreal. This truly is a tropical paradise, and you can make your home here with a stay at one of the Grand Palladium Resorts like the Grand Palladium White Sand Resort and Spa. The sea is blue, the sand is white, the tropical greenery is lush, and the sunshine is warm and bright. Local wildlife roams freely. Nature really is preserved throughout the property.

The natural look of the land is incorporated throughout the resort as well. You don’t feel like you are staying in a strange building that seems out of place in this beautiful part of the world. The resort blends in seamlessly, honoring the land on which it sits and incorporating traditional Mexican architecture.

Activities

When you stay at a Grand Palladium Resort in Riviera Maya, you have access to eight freshwater pools and one seawater pool. That’s right, nine pools! The pools all have their own personality with relaxing and fun options like jacuzzis, water slides, quiet pools, and bar service.

If you enjoy staying active, everyday you will find sports, activities, and games. The gymnasium here is great for your daily workout. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, a soccer field, beach volleyball courts, shuffle board, a rifle shooting range, and more. There is absolutely no way you can get bored during your visit to a Grand Palladium Riviera Maya Resort!

If you love water sports, you’ve chosen the right place for your getaway. You can go scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, or boating. Really get up and close with the Caribbean through one of these activities during your stay.

Each day you will find entertainment like shows, nightly discos, salsa and merengue classes, beer drinking contests, treasure hunts, sand castle contests, and more. There are things to enjoy as a family, stuff just for kids, and events just for adults. There is world class entertainment here! For example, the High School Musical performance was a hit for everyone in our family.

When you need a little grown up time on vacation at Grand Palladium, just check your child in at one of the Children’s Clubs. The Baby Club is for ages 1 to 3. “El Ranchito” Mini Club is for ages 4 to 12. Here your kids will enjoy indoor and outdoor activities like crafts, games, sports, and educational activities like an ecotour of the resort. There is even a club for teenagers called the Black and White Junior’s Club featuring a lounge, games, and even a disco twice a week.

If you’ve dropped off the kids, why not spend some time in the spa. What’s a vacation without relaxation and pampering? The Zentropía Palladium Spa & Wellness Center offers exclusive and personalized services. You won’t find a finer spa in this area of the world. Choose from a wide range of spa therapies like massages and skin treatments. You can also get your hair, nails, and make up done here. Treat yourself to some “you time” at the spa during your Grand Palladium vacation. If you want a family experience, book some mother-daughter spa time. Get comfy in a robe and enjoy manicures and pedicures. There is even a hair dresser to braid your daughter’s hair!

Book your room and start daydreaming about your arrival at Grand Palladium Resorts in Riviera Maya. If you are traveling with your entire family, great! We absolutely love the idea of traveling here with extended family as well. Why not let your children make some special memories with a grandparent or cousins in Mexico?
