Happy DailyMom Monday!! Our mom of the week is @angiebwinn ! Our question for her was “What do you want your children to remember about growing up?” and her answer is absolutely heartwarming!!!

Angie says: “Growing up, I’ve never really thought about what kind of mother I’d want to be because motherhood wasn’t something I dreamt about.

I was thrown into the role at 21 years old. From a mommy of one to now being a mommy of three, I always knew I needed to be the best for my kids and never quite new what the best looked like until recently.

I took my youngest son and daughter to a harvest festival where we live and I saw JOY! Joy I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed before. I think as parents, we get so caught up in life and the busyness that comes with it that we overlook the beauty in the simplicity of it and that includes motherhood.

What I want my kids to remember the most about their mommy is that I listened and I was present. My work or nothing else trumped my physical presence or my listening ear. My babies are my world and I’m proud to be their mother and want them to always be proud to call me Mom.”
