Winter Gear For All Climates
With incredibly unique & colorful clothing, bold patterns, and unmatched quality, Polarn O Pyret has quickly rocketed to the top of my “favorite brands” list, and become my go-to place when I’m looking for fun, made-to-last new clothes for my son.
Polarn O Pyret has a fabulous selection of winter gear, ranging from keep-you-warm-in-Alaska, to stay-cozy-when-winter-means-40-degrees. We’re currently living in a “winter means 40 degrees” location, and the collection did not disappoint.
The Clothes
The Windfleece Jacket is windproof, water-resistant, breathable, lint & pill-proof and, most importantly, perfectly warm for our winter days. The jacket is incredibly lightweight, and is actually made of 3 separate layers to shield your child from the elements. The lightweight nature of the material means your child can actually move freely while playing (unlike so many other winter coats!).
It can also be snapped into Polarn O Pyret’s shell coats for extra cold days. One of the best features is the reflective material on the front and back of the jacket, and on the zipper pulls.
I’m amazed with how well the Best Basic Eco Sweatpants have held up to my toddler’s constant play. After multiple washes, they still look brand new and the navy color hasn’t faded one bit. They’re super soft, really warm, and seriously heavy duty – exactly what my little explorer needs.
Made of 100% organic cotton, and made perfectly to last through growth spurts, these are a choice you can really feel good about. Organic and durable and grows with your child? Sign me up for that!
Polarn O Pyret’s Classic Stripe Rain Boots are probably the cutest shoes my son has owned to date. Apart from being functional, I actually get the warm fuzzies when I see these adorable little boots lined up in the closet, waiting to be worn. What amazes me the most is how insanely easy they are to put on a squirmy toddler. After purchasing no fewer than four pairs of boots for my son that I couldn’t wrangle onto his feet, these rain boots were a welcome addition to his closet. Easy on, easy off.
The rain boots also have a strip of reflective material going down the back for added safety outdoors. My personal recommendation is to buy these a pinch bigger than needed – ours are a half size bigger than his normal shoe, and fit perfectly.
