Having the kitchen was perfect for our family, especially at lunchtime. Traveling with kids means that sitting in restaurants can be an ordeal so we generally prefer to limit our meals out for sanity’s sake. At Crane’s Beach House, we were able to make lunches in the ensuite kitchen between our time at the beach and pool in order to relax a bit more. From cooking in the kitchen to enjoying our meal on the gorgeous, shady patio, this made our experience truly relaxing and much more enjoyable for the parents and kids alike.

A Review of Crane’s Beach House in Delray Beach, FL
Our stay at Crane’s Beach House was truly relaxing and enjoyable for our large family. The property features lush tropical greenery, well-appointed rooms, and a laid back vibe. This secluded location tucked into a corner on 82 Gleason Street offers the best of both worlds – easy access to the beach and the main strip in Delray, but privacy and quiet of a just off the beaten path beach town.
For a family stay, we were thoroughly pleased with the layout of the rooms and the outdoor areas. The kids slept on the very comfy pullout in the living room while the parents had the bedroom, the full kitchen gave us the option for dining in which is integral when traveling with kids who eat all the time, and the patio was basically an additional outdoor living room with its comfy outdoor couches and lounge chairs.
We would suggest this hotel to couples as well because the privacy and exclusivity cannot be matched. There were several areas of the town I knew I wanted to explore without the kiddos and plan to stay in Delray in the future as we loved Crane’s and this beautiful location right outside of Palm Beach.
