Unless you have been hanging out in the bottom of Sarlacc pit, you are probably aware that Galaxy’s Edge opened this summer at Disneyland and Disneyworld. Galaxy’s Edge is where you can visit the former training post of Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. According to Disney and Lucas Films, the outpost has been all but forgotten since the invention of hyperspace. Since it is now bypassed by most, this space port is now inhabited and frequented by characters and creatures of all sorts, and the Galaxy’s Edge Food and cargo within reflect that.
Galaxy’s Edge Food
Kat Saka’s Kettle
This walk-up stand has popcorn for sale that is a mix of sweet and spicy. Don’t let the sweet taste of the popcorn lure you into fitting a whole fistful in your mouth, the zing of the spicy (not too spicy) will get you. The now famous droid bottles of soda are available for purchase here as well, as long as their cargo has come in.
Ronto’s Roasters
You cannot miss this food stall just passed the marketplace. There is a smelter droid working the fire pit to make sure all your space-animal roasting needs are met. The Ronto wraps are available all day, in breakfast form until lunchtime when it changes from egg and meat to double meat. The Nuna Turkey Jerky is also available here.
Mobile Ordering is available, and pick up is to the left of the smelter droid.
The Milk Stand
The presence of the First Order is felt near the recently landed Tie-fighter, but don’t let it stop you from stopping in to try some Blue Milk that Luke Skywalker enjoys and the Green Milk featured in The Last Jedi. Try them both, if you can, to decide which is your favorite. Both drinks are dairy-free with plant-based coconut and rice milk. The Blue Milk is more tropical in flavor and the Green Milk has a floral-citrus flavor. Both are refreshing and do not taste like milk at all, so don’t expect that. Mobile Ordering is available here.
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Near the Millennium Falcon is this docking bay providing food that is worth the ride. With two salad offerings, a vegan dish and much more, the portions here are sure to please. Specialty beverages like the Phattro will quench the thirst you acquired while on your journey. Two desserts are available to purchase here – the OiOi Cream puff with a light raspberry cream inside a fluffy outer shell is topped with a passion fruit mouse and a Batuu-bon of chocolate cake topped by a white chocolate mousse with coffee custard. These treats are sure to provide the fuel needed to continue to explore. Mobile Ordering is available here., we suggest its use on busy days to lower wait times.
Oga’s Cantina
No self-respecting outpost or space port would be complete without a cantina. Reminiscent of the Mos Eisley Cantina, this cantina is DJ’d by R-3X. DJ R-3X got a promotion to DJ after a few too many failed missions at Star Tours. The music pumping from the cantina pours out onto the outpost beckoning you in. For the first time ever, outside of exclusive Disney club Club 33, alcoholic beverages are available for purchase inside the Disneyland resort for all with a maximum of a 2 drink purchase once inside. Currently, once guests enter the cantina they are able to stay for 45 minutes to enjoy the music, atmosphere, and drinks.
