Today is the day to pop the champagne cork and celebrate love by pouring the bubbly. This year though, try to spice it up just a bit with our three favorite recipes that are easy to make as well!
There’s nothing worse than finding some amazing cocktail recipes, and then having to run to the grocery store for tons of different mixers in order to make the recipe. That’s why we love these recipes- you probably have the ingredients in your fridge already, or, if you don’t, some are even ingredients that can also be used to make tomorrow morning’s healthy smoothie. For a different edge, try using a sweeter champagne such as this Almond Champagne from Wilson Creek, or this super-affordable Moscato Champagne from Barefoot.
Sunset Mimosa (Pictured Above):

- 6 oz Champagne
- 2 Tsps Grenadine Syrup
- 4 oz orange juice
Mix orange juice and champagne together, and then pour on top of the grenadine to create a beautiful layered look.
Blackberry Champagne:
Ingredients:
- Blackberries
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- Organic cane sugar cube *omit if you choose a sweet champagne*
- Champagne
In a small bowl, combine the blackberries and the triple sec and let stand for at least 20 minutes. Place the sugar cube* and soaked blackberries on the bottom of the glass, and pour chilled champagne on top.
