Just steps away from the Oceanside Pier, this homegrown bakery offers friendly and local smiles, along with the most delicious Chicken and Waffle Benny. Their creative twists on typical breakfast items are deliciously impressive. Petite Madeline’s also makes for a great kid-friendly coffee shop.
3. Beach Plum Kitchen
Complimentary coffee cake and coffee while you wait, has us saying THANK YOU to this brunch spot. There are even small toys and cards to keep the kids entertained. The atmosphere in the restaurant is both inviting and exciting. Its sister-restaurant, Tin Leaf (located in the same plaza), is a wonderful kid-friendly restaurant.
4. Breakfast Republic
With multiple locations throughout the San Diego area, Breakfast Republic takes the most important meal of the day very seriously. Signature chairs that look like eggs, and tongue-in-cheek and witty decor makes this restaurant enjoyable to brunch at.
5. Park 101
A local hot spot in the heart of Carlsbad Village, Park 101 provides the best brunch atmosphere: California sun, mimosas, and acai bowls. On Tuesdays, Park 101 hosts Moms Who Mimosa. If your children are in tow, don’t worry — you’ll be able to enjoy your well-deserved mimosa while the littles play giant Connect Four, Jenga, and Cornhole on the lawn.
