Baby Kaed diaper bags on My Cocolime are a line of bags created by mother-of-two, Lavinia. Named after her oldest son Kaed, the line of diaper bags are both functional and stylish. The theory behind the design is that becoming a mom doesn’t mean the end of personal style; we can still look chic and stylish without a bag that screams “diaper bag”.
The Style
The line of bags features 10 different styles and colors, and there is truly something for every style. Choose from ebony blacks, chocolatey browns, or add a pop of color to your everyday mom outfit with a solid blue. Many of the bags also feature a python pattern that scream chic mama. Nine of the ten bags are made of a soft faux leather exterior and nylon interior, i.e. materials that are easy to clean bottle spills or sticky toddler fingerprints. The line also features a bag in a luscious faux suede material with cross stitch accents. All the bags also have beautiful silver or brass hardware accents and easy open-close zippers. The bags are the perfect size for a diaper bag, which is roomy enough to hold all of the necessities but not so large that they’re hard to tote around.
The Functionality
The bags are spacious enough to hold all of your baby gear as well as your own belongings. Not only that, they have many pockets to keep all that stuff organized! All bags have at least 5 interior pockets and 1-3 exterior pockets. The Jacey and Jaipur bags also feature two extra side pockets which are perfect for holding your baby’s bottle and a water bottle for yourself or your phone for quick access. Each bag comes with a coordinating changing mat and some bags include other accessories such as an extra zippered pouch.
The Jaipur bag features python-patterned straps and comes with a coordinating zipper pouch and changing mat. It has 5 interior pockets, 2 side pockets, 2 zippered pockets in front and one back pocket for extra space. The straps can also be adjusted to “stroller mode”.
When you become a mom, it’s important not to lose yourself. And that includes not losing your sense of style. Diaper bags do not need to look like diaper bags, and that’s the great thing about Baby Kaed bags–they don’t look like diaper bags. That means you can remain a stylish and sophisticated woman postpartum. Further, once your little one is out of diapers and sippy cups, you can continue to use the bag as your own everyday handbag.
