Elena and Sara are at the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas and they’ve noticed some new trends in baby gear! For all of you moms who love to be on the cutting edge of what’s in style, these new products are perfect for you!
New Materials:
We’re seeing lots of denim and leather in strollers and car seats, as shown here with the stroller and the Pria 70 Car Seat. (Luxury leather products with handcrafted and very soft leather are being shown at a higher price point.)
The Summer Infant Fuze Rain Cover is the first rain cover to get rid of the ugly plastic bag. Instead it’s a black fitted cover for the stroller with a smaller window made of clear non-pthalate plastic with a mesh lining under it for air flow.
New Colors & Patterns!
In addition to the new materials we’re also seeing new colors and patterns. Check out the white frames for strollers, like the newest Quinny model called the Moodd which features one-touch automatic unfolding!
The hottest colors we’re seeing are mint, teal and green, as shown here in the BabyHome Emotion Stroller
and the Mamas and Papas Limited Edition Stroller
and, many new patterns and colors for Maxi Cosi products (to be released at a later date).
Oilo bedding offers bedding items sold separately so moms can mix and match decor!
The Summer Infant Bassinet rocks and sways, as well as plays music! It also looks amazing with green accents and wood styling.
Valco Double strollers offer different color seats (for boy/girl twins or to mix and match) and a toddler seat as well!
And, Safety First bathtubs now come in a variety of beautiful new colors!
