Fall is finally here, which means it’s time to break out the boots, scarves and jackets!
It’s also time for a wardrobe update — especially if you’re a pregnant or nursing momma. Luckily for us, Boob Design has unveiled its fall line — and we are in love. From fun prints to classic styles, comfy sweats to flattering active wear, Boob has truly outdone themselves this season. Here are some of our favorite fall looks for busy moms like you!
At Daily Mom, we are unabashed about our love for Boob Design. Boob’s apparel is designed to be worn during the pregnancy, postpartum and nursing stages, giving them an A+ for functionality. Boob’s signature lift-up front panels make breastfeeding easy and discreet, so you can nurse anytime, anywhere, hassle-free. This season, Boob has created functional, fun and flattering pieces to transition effortlessly into fall and winter.
Comfy Sweatshirts for School Pickup
A basic sweatshirt is the equivalent of clothing comfort food — classic, comfortable and cozy. Boob’s B. Warmer Nursing Sweater elevates the basic crew neck sweatshirt to a whole other level, creating something that’s ridiculously comfortable yet fitted and flattering.
Made from brushed organic cotton, this sweatshirt feels like a dream: velvety, soft and smooth. The top flap is lined with cozy fleece, so you’ll stay warm as you nurse in cooler temperatures. While some sweatshirts require a tank top underneath, the B. Warmer is definitely heavy (and structured) enough that it’s fine to wear on its own.
We love the casual, raglan-style sleeves, ribbed cuffs and waist and stitching on the neckline — it gives this sweatshirt a classic look. This season, look for the B. Warmer Sweater in Heather and Cassie, two different shades of pink that are flattering on every skin tone.
Pair the B. Warmer with Boob’s new Super Stretch Maternity Jeans. These comfortable stretch jeans have a slim-but-not-skin-tight fit, making them super flattering for moms-to-be. Our favorite feature of these jeans is their low-cut front and button fly, so they don’t look like your average pair of maternity jeans (which is awesome when you’re wearing them postpartum!). An adjustable elastic inside the waistband and fold-able jersey panel means you can customize these jeans to suit your own preferences — which can change depending on where you are in your pregnancy.
Finally, the colors — we are in love. The washed grey and washed black are fun, fashion-forward and edgy — so you will actually feel “cool” as you head to preschool pick-up wearing these jeans!
Festive Sweaters for Family Get Togethers
Dots are fun, happy and youthful — so of course we are in love with this polka dot Knitted Sweater! Besides the print, we love how warm and comfortable this sweater is — it’s not one of those flimsy sweaters you’re left shivering in. Made from 100% organic cotton, it feels as warm as wool without being at all scratchy (in fact, it’s so warm you won’t want to take it off!).
Boob’s fall line contains several sweater options, from dotted to striped, moss knitted to fine-knit merino. We love that Boob has so many flattering sweater choices; in the cooler weather, it’s even more imperative to have easy breastfeeding access. Boob’s signature smart nursing function means you’ll never have to expose your midriff to the cold — simply lift and latch!
The dotted print gives this sweater a festive vibe, and it would be great with a skirt, satin skinnies or leggings for a family get-together this holiday season. We’ve paired this sweater with Boob’s Once-on-never-off Leggings for a more casual, comfortable look.
These leggings feature a high, fold-able waist panel that can be worn over or under the belly. The leggings are a stretchy blend of 95% lyocell and 5% elastane, so you’ll feel comfortable and supported no matter what stage you’re in.
The Once-on-never-off Leggings are thin enough that you can easily wear them with dresses (which is such a bonus because… maternity tights? Yuck!); however, they’re structured enough that you can wear them with a sweatshirt or top and not feel totally exposed or inappropriate.
A Fun Dress for Fall Field Trips!
We are crazy about Boob’s fall styles. For a fun, everyday-kind-of-dress, we absolutely adore the Amy Nursing Dress. The 3/4 sleeves, bold, jewel toned stripes and above-the-knee length make this dress simply adorable. The thick stripes give this dress an ’80s vibe, but the slim cut and round neckline make the Amy Dress very modern.
This dress is made from 95% organic cotton and 5% elastine, so it’s stretchy and soft. The top flap makes nursing a breeze — and gives the Amy a super cute (and flattering) empire cut. This dress looks great with tights or leggings, boots or sneakers, and a cardigan or jacket. It could definitely be dressed up for the office — but we love it for everyday, on-the-go wear!
The Perfect Date-Night Dress
You can’t get more classic than a wrap dress, and the Laura Nursing Dress is definitely a closet staple. Wrap dresses look good on everyone — they are a universally flattering style.
The Laura is a faux wrap, meaning the top is sewed securely into place (so no worries about a boisterous baby or toddler causing any wardrobe malfunctions while nursing). The top can be adjusted with a long tie that can be tied in the front or back. Nursing is easy — simply lift the top!
The small details on the Laura make it more interesting than your basic wrap dress: ribbed piping on the cuffs, the v-neck, and a long tie add a touch of flair and visual interest. The empire waist is both flattering for a baby bump and forgiving for a postpartum tummy.
Made from organic cotton and elastane, this dress is stretchy and super soft (the cotton is a thinner “brushed” version of the B. Warmer Sweater). Try the Laura Dress in Black for a timeless look, or Storm for an updated take on navy blue!
