Let’s be honest, when we’re at home with the kids (whether that be full time or on the weekends), we want to be comfortable. Forget about clothes that suck it all in or require dry cleaning, we need clothes that can measure up to our family’s shenanigans.
And while we could easily pick up a cheap pair of sweats at the local big box retailer, don’t we deserve better than that? Yes! In fact, if “your people” gave you money this Christmas, we think it’s time to take that holiday cash out for a spin. Specifically, check out Z Supply.
Z Supply is a California-based clothing company that believes that simplicity, comfort and style should coexist in every closet. Their collection of easygoing essentials seamlessly intermix with any wardrobe so that you can make a smooth transition from day to night, in any season.
From ridiculously comfortable t-shirts and hoodies to sweatpants and gauchos, these laid-back and relaxed fashion basics are giving moms a much needed style overhaul. Whether out and about, or just lounging around, these pieces hold the secret to looking like an effortlessly chic, pulled together mom.
For example, let’s start with the most basic of basics – your white tee. Do you have one you really love? Up until we came across the Twist Front Tee, wearing a white t-shirt felt like a cop-out (especially when you witness your husband throw on his worn out white t-shirt every single night after work).
This tee is far from ragged. In fact, it’s a top shelf, front of the closet, the type of tee that you’ll plan outfits around kind of shirt. Defined by a front twist, this Gauge Jersey tee features a V-neckline, a soft-wash, short sleeves, and relaxed fit.
We love it with all styles of jeans (skinny, boyfriend, boot-cut, etc), gauchos, sweats – even dress pants! It truly is our favorite.
Another t-shirt worth mentioning is the Cotton Slub Pocket Tee. The twist front tee might be the most stylish shirt in Z Supply’s line up, but the cotton slub pocket tee is quite possibly the softest t-shirt we’ve ever owned.
In fact, we’re quite convinced that it’s made of cloud-soft cotton that’s been hand sewn by tiny angels (yes – they are that good). Black hides the grime your kids will wipe all over you well, but don’t limit yourself. There are several other colors available, as well as long sleeves!
Now that we’re in the middle of winter, you’ve got to have at least one pair of fleece joggers. We picked up a pair of Loft Fleece Camo Jogger Pants, and they’re literally the only pair of pants we want to wear when we’re laying around the house; although we don’t feel one bit ashamed to run errands or roll through carpool in them. They feature a drawstring waistband, side pockets, and ribbed leg cuffs; and if you like to match, there is a matching pullover available.
Of course, if camo isn’t your jam, there are obviously other fleece joggers available in plain colors; but we are hopeful that by wearing camouflage, our kids might not recognize us as we hide in the pantry to eat their favorite snack. Moving on…
Another basic we can’t live without is a hoodie. Whether we’re having our morning cup of coffee, knocking out a few minutes of work in the office, running errands or hitting the gym, versatility is key. A good hoodie keeps you warm, but the best hoodies are designed to go with you everywhere.
Crafted from a super-soft marled knit, the Marled Hooded Waterfall Cardigan has completely unlocked the full potential of a “hoodie.” Granted, we spend most of that “potential” doing laundry, preparing the next meal and playing taxi driver in this pretty shade of ash blue, but we’re convinced that if we were wearing russet henna or deep cola, we could really set the world on fire.
With the cardigan we love a soft pair of culottes, but definitely not your grandmother’s culottes. Part of Z Supply’s Soft Spun Knit Collection, these culottes are crafted from one of the softest fabrics we’ve ever worn. Featuring an elastic waistband and wide ¾ length pant legs, these culotte pants offer a soft-to-the-touch feel like no other.
These pants are the perfect length to transition from fall into winter, and winter into spring. And while this grey definitely feels casual, we see no reason why this same pair of pants in black couldn’t be dressed up for the office or taken out on the town after the kids are tucked in fast asleep.
If you’d rather have a full length pant, be sure to check out the Soft Spun Knit Wide Leg Pant.

Soft Spun Knit Mock Neck Pullover
Within that same soft spun collection, you’ll find the Mock Neck Pullover.
Featuring raglan sleeves, ribbed trim, and raw edges for a slightly distressed look, this mock neck pullover sweater offers a longer silhouette so you can easily wear with leggings or jeans without worrying about your bottom hanging out. You’re welcome.
This is the type of sweater that you’ll pull out every time it looks too cold to go outside but you’re forced to go out anyway.
Finally, the shirt you really can’t live without – the Weekender.
Descriped as “your favorite go-to sweater pullover,” the Weekender is more of a heavy long-sleeve shirt. Either way, we find ourselves wearing it on a weekly basis (so much so that we asked family members to buy us a few more of them this past holiday).
If you’ve got the confidence of a super model, you can wear it on its own or if you’re like us, you can pair it with your perfect cami for a comfy look you’ll love. It’s crafted from Z Supply’s burnout baby French terry fabric, with an exaggerated side slit, a neckline triangle stitch and high-low hem.
The olive green color is definitely on trend this season, but with seven color choices, you really can’t go wrong. Wear with your favorite pair of leggings or denim, your friends will definitely be asking where you got this shirt!
This winter, keep warm and cozy with Z Suppy. From cozy knits to stylish essentials, Z Supply has the perfect outfit to keep you looking good while staying comfortable.
