A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… LEGOLAND presented Star Wars Day! One of our Daily Moms took her LEGO-loving kid to check out the brand new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Miniland Model Display at LEGOLAND Florida. The activities for her little one were endless and were perfect for children of all ages. It was amazing to see iconic Star Wars characters and scenes re-created with thousands of LEGO bricks. The LEGO Star Wars Days is an incredibly memorable experience for both your LEGO and Star Wars fanatics.
LEGOLAND Star Wars Days
Star Wars LEGO Miniland
You and your child will be in awe with the 2,000 LEGO models that they will get to view. Adults will love seeing and teaching their children about their favorite Star Wars characters from the first six films of the Star Wars saga. The LEGO Star Wars Miniland is incredible and extremely realistic. The places and scenes from the movies are perfectly recreated into a small size but represent Star Wars exactly.
Meet the Characters
The lights, sound effects, and animation of the LEGO Star Wars displays will capture and engage your child, making them feel like they are really in outer space. Kids have the opportunity to meet LEGO Darth Vader and Storm Troppers and see first-hand the life-size models of Darth Maul, Chewbacca, Rey, BB-8, and R2-D2. Meet and greets were also available to attend to spend some one-on-one time with LEGO Darth Vader and LEGO Captain Phasma.
Real-life Star Wars characters flooded the park and could be seen walking around mingling with park-goers all day. They even jumped on some of the rides to enjoy the fun alongside the riders. This brought so much excitement and joy to the lucky riders who got to share a ride with the Star Wars characters and take pictures with them.
Tons of Photo Ops
Photo areas are set up all throughout the park, giving fans the opportunity to have professional pictures taken with their favorite Star Wars characters and models that they can cherish forever. You can take as many pictures as you want of the characters to share with your family and friends later.
Activities Galore
Live shows were scheduled all day long, allowing for a chance to take a break from walking around the park to sit and relax while at the same time being entertained. The LEGO Star Wars Droid Tales retells the Star Wars saga by R2-D2 and C-3PO, giving the audience a comical story of this tale through the eyes of these beloved droids. Next is The Galaxy of Fun Live Show which follows four citizens of the LEGO Star Wars galaxy as they try to honor the virtues of fun, creativity, and unity. They display their skills to show off amazing stunts on stage to celebrate their love for the galaxy they call home.
The Imagination Zone is the place to be to “find your force.” Joining Master Yoda as he guides you on a journey to discover which side of The Force you will choose is so exciting! At the Imagination Zone you get to choose a LEGO Yoda model to reveal your light saber color, determining if you are to be a part of the Rebel Alliance or the Empire. Next, dive into the Light Saber Scavenger Hunt where you search for the missing LEGO light sabers throughout the Imagination Zone for a chance to win LEGO prizes. Spend some time playing LEGO Star Wars video games in the Warner Brothers Game Zone or partake in the Galaxy Competition Build where you build a Star Wars themed LEGO model.
Dine in the Star Wars themed options and chow down on a “Rebel Burger”, and a “Light Sword Churro” when you’re feeling hungry. And you can’t leave without a LEGOLAND Star Wars souvenier like the Exclusive LEGO Star Wars Scarif Trooper Minifigure that you receive for free with a $50 LEGO Star Wars toy purchase.
More Than a Theme Park
With so much to see and so much to do, your little one will be tuckered out by the end of the day, which tells you it was a success. LEGOLAND is located in Florida and is so much more than a theme park. In addition to all the rides, shops, dining, shows and activities, a full Waterpark is located in the park and is absolutely the perfect pit stop during a hot day. Cool off in the lazy river while building with LEGO’s while floating around. If you are looking for a nearby hotel, you can’t get any closer than the LEGOLAND Resort, literally steps from the entrance of the park. If your kid loves LEGOs and is also a Star Wars fan, you can’t go wrong with Star Wars Days and LEGOLAND.
