Summer Berry Dairy Free Ice Cream Recipe

This dairy free ice cream recipe is refreshing and not too sweet. It is the perfect dessert for an alfresco dinner party during a warm summer evening.

Ingredients
  • 3 bananas sliced and frozen
  • 1/2 cup frozen summer berries
  • 1 tbsp honey
How To:
  1. Peal and slice 3 bananas. Put them in the freezer overnight. Sliced frozen bananas are easier to blend than whole bananas.
  2. Put the frozen banana slices in a food processor with frozen summer berries. Blitz for about 5 minutes or until it resembles the same texture as ice cream. The mixture will go through a crumbly phase. Keep processing through this stage.
  3. Once the mixture is creamy, add honey and blend for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Top with berries and mint leaves to serve.

Chocolate and Hazelnut Dairy Free Ice Cream Recipe

Banana and chocolate is a winning combination! If you love chocolate or if you have a sweet tooth, you can increase the amount of honey and cocoa you use. All varieties of nuts will work with this dairy free ice cream recipe. Try walnuts, pecans or even roasted peanuts.

Ingredients
  • 2 bananas sliced and frozen
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Small handful of crushed hazelnuts
How To:
  1. Put frozen slices of banana in a food processor with cocoa and blitz for about 5 minutes. Again, the mixture will go through a crumbly phase but keep processing until it is smooth.
  2. Add the honey and blend for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Top with crushed hazelnuts to serve.

Peanut Butter Dairy Free Ice Cream Recipe

This is dairy free ice cream recipe is for the peanut butter lovers! This is a beautifully creamy ice cream that is rich in flavor. You can add chocolate chips, nuts or dried fruit depending on how decadent you want to make it!

Ingredients
  • 2 bananas sliced and frozen
  • 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Small handful of raisins
How To:
  1. Put frozen slices of bananas in a food processor with peanut butter and blend for 5 minutes, until it resembles the same texture as ice cream.
  2. Add the maple syrup and blitz for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Top with a few raisins and drizzle with maple syrup to serve.
