Pretend with us, just for a moment, that your family has adopted a new pet. You bring her home and anxiously set her down on the floor, and watch her adapt to her new surroundings. You may giggle at her as a family, and spend a better part of your day watching her run around your kitchen floor. Then you put her to bed and retire for the night. When you wake up, you gently give her a pat, and thank her for the cleanest kitchen floors you’ve ever seen.
Wait, what? We’re clearly talking about our newest member of the family; our sleek and suave robotic floor cleaner named bObi. Read on to hear about a game changer in the automatic vacuum world.
What is the bObi pet?
The bObi Pet is a multi-functional and intelligent automatic floor cleaner that mops, vacuums, sweeps, and sterilizes your floor in one single swipe. She uses a smart navigational system to move easily from room to room, and has 80 sensors and radio frequency that helps her detect obstacles, and prevents her from falling off edges and/or steps. She can clean nearly any type of flooring, from hardwood to carpeting, ceramic, marble or linoleum.
She also has a HEPA filter which helps get rid of microscopic particles and allergens that a normal vacuum cleaner may miss. But the best part about the bObi Pet is that she is designed to fit seamlessly into a pet-friendly home. She is designed with two large main brushes that make her amazing at picking up pet hair and trapping it in the filter, without stirring it up. The dustbin can then be emptied into the garbage when you’re ready to clean it, and then can be rinsed under running water. The microfiber pad can also be washed in your washing machine, so maintenance is a breeze! She also has a microfiber mop pad, and UV light to help mop and sanitize your floor as she goes.
Another amazing feature that sets bObi Pet aside from other robotic vacuums is the fact that she can be completely personalized to fit your schedule and your areas. Her remote allows you to dictate when she runs throughout the day. If you prefer to have her running while you sleep, simply tell her to run in the middle of the night, and she will vacuum away, all while you slumber peacefully. She will return to her own “bed” (aka: charging station) when she is finished. If you’d like to block off a section of your home, you can either close off some doors, or use a bObi block to draw an invisible line that she is unable to cross.
Our Favorite Features
Impeccable warranty: bObi Pet comes with a one-year warranty, five years of subsidized repair and a lifetime of support and service. No matter how much time has passed from when you purchased bObi, her team of support is right there with you, along for the ride.
Lightweight: She is a slim 3.2″ tall and has a 12″ diameter. She weighs just about 6 lbs.
Durable battery: Her battery will last approximately 1.5 hours, running on a full charge, depending on the age of the battery and the speed in which she is operating at.
Quiet as a mouse: A normal speaking conversation decibel is about 68 decibels, and a “normal” upright vacuum operates around 90 decibels. bObi runs at 60 decibels, so you can still hear what’s going on around you easily, and you won’t have to scream at your family to get them to hear you. (Well, not any more so than usual, we should say.)
Won’t fall down the stairs: bObi has floor detection sensors on her belly that confirm when there are surfaces beneath her. Any time that she approaches a ledge and doesn’t “feel” a floor underneath her, she will stop and turn around.
Family safe: bObi is free of hazardous substances and environmentally friendly (RoHS certified).
Stylish: She is available in two chic colors: scarlet or silver, and offers touch sensors on top, which are easy to navigate and are also attractive.
Watch Her In Action
Our editor, Megan, was able to adopt a bObi into her home. Living on a farm and having two kids, two dogs, and four backyard chickens can lead to a dirty farmhouse floor, often (most!) times. Watch as bObi navigates her home, with ease!
