Naartjie Kids Summer 2014 Collection & Giveaway

http://dailymom.com/discover/naartjie-kids-summer-2014-collection-and-giveaway

This summer we are loving the ability to mix and match Naartjie Kids’ beautifully coordinated summer clothing for girls.  This season’s collection is inspired by colorful large scale macaw floral print mixed with smaller tonal tropic and orinoko floral prints. These fabulous styles are finished with an eclectic mix of trims including brightly colored embroidered flowers, contrast bobble trim, sporty printed tapes, and wood buttons and beads. Between soft slub knits and woven lawn separates, multiple outfits can be created from their playful, vibrant, active, colorful, and natural kid-friendly pieces.

Not only do we think you’ll love this collection too, but we’re offering one of our readers a chance to win a $100 gift card to Naartjie Kids. Be sure to read all the details at the end of this post.

Who is Naartjie?

If you’re unfamiliar with Naartjie Kids, you must be wondering how to say it. The name “Naartjie” (pronounced nar chee) is an Afrikaans word for “a small, sweet citrus fruit” found in South Africa. Founded in 1989, they opened their first store in 1992 with the vision of creating a “distinctive, affordable, naturally soft, functional, kid-friendly clothing brand”.  Their clothing is a blend of bright and colorful meets fashion forward. Every single piece exudes a fun, natural, active, fresh, playful and wholesome perspective of the world.

Designed for Comfort

Naartjie clothes are designed by moms with the comfort of  children being the top priority. Each piece is made from natural fabrics (almost 100% cotton) that have been garment-dyed, pre-washed and pre-shrunk for easy cleaning and durability. Their garment dying process creates more vibrant colors and softer clothing. On top of that, their price point is such that it fits into everyone’s budget.

 Mix and Match

One of the things we love is the ability to easily mix and match their inter-coordinated pieces. Each new print, style and color that hits the store builds on other items you may have purchased earlier in the season or in a previous season. Items such as a cardigan can take your child from cool spring mornings to the start of autumn. You may even find that their essentials are perfect to coordinate with items you purchased at other children’s stores. These outfits are great to dress up for a special occasion, dress down for a day at the park, or layer for endless combinations that will make every day fun for you and your child.

And Naartjie isn’t just for girls. While we love these three outfits and swimsuit, there are tons of adorable clothing options for babies, boys and girls fitting sizes newborn to 16 tween. At any given time, they are running a sale (in fact, the Summer 1 collection is up to 40% off right now and their Spring collections are up to 50% off), so definitely check them out. Their clothing runs true to size, so if you don’t have a store near you, no worries. They ship throughout the USA and to 205 countries.
