As a first time mom, you buy everything that your little one could possibly need. You have all the big ticket items – the car seat, the crib, a swing, a bouncer, and a stroller (or two). Now, fast forward and you are a mom of two or perhaps recently pregnant with your second child. Yes, you have everything that this next little baby could need except maybe one little item – a stroller that will fit both of your children. It can be a difficult process when you need to choose a double stroller. Well, look no further! We have found a stroller that not only holds two precious kids, but that you can easily do daily errands, day trips to museums or zoos, or even jog around the block in.

Baby Jogger not only produces strollers, but they are parents who want the utmost in safety and innovation. They look at a parent’s need on a daily basis and cater to those needs, while being innovative and progressive in their design. They make everyday strollers that can help with errands and activities, but also have jogging strollers for those parents who want to continue an exercise program while having their children along with them. Now Baby Jogger has a double stroller that can handle both! Go anywhere with the Summit x3 Double; it is an amazing design with an active parent in mind.

About Baby Jogger

Baby Jogger was established back in 1984 by Phil Baechler, a first time father who wanted to spend time with his son. He decided to bond with his infant by taking him in his baby carriage while he went on his daily jogs. He realized quickly that the baby carriage was not adequate for jogging so he designed the specialized stroller that is now known worldwide as Baby Jogger.

What started as a jogging stroller company expanded to other models of strollers to help all parents. Now, more than ever, parents take their children everywhere and need safe and reliable transportation for them. Baby Jogger has produced strollers for many terrains and any activity that you can think of.

Baby Jogger has created several strollers that have helped many different families since 1984.

  • The City Select is said to be the stroller that grows with your family; it can be changed to use with one, two or even three children.
  • The City Mini is compact and lightweight, perfect for navigating an urban setting.
  • The City Premier has 5 different options for your child and you can face them towards you or forward; you can attach a car seat, pram or glider board to this specific stroller to adapt to your needs.
  • The Vue Lite is their version of an umbrella stroller and can also switch from parent facing to forward facing.
  • Finally, the Summit x3 is Baby Jogger’s premier hybrid jogger/stroller.

Baby Jogger is said to inspire adventures and we believe they do just that!

The Summit x3 Double from Baby Jogger

The Summit x3 Double is the perfect all terrain stroller for any family looking to tote two tots around. It offers extensive details so that it can cater to parents of all active lifestyles. The all-wheel suspension and all-terrain tires offer the best maneuverability of any stroller on the market. Do you have an infant who needs a carrier? This is not a problem for the Summit x3 Double; accessorize yours using a Compact Pram* (sold separately) for your smallest passenger.

* Consult your pediatrician before jogging with a baby under 12 months.

With two children, it is always nice to have everything in reach. On the Summit x3 Double, the rear drum brakes are hand-operated and offer control in all situations. This is incredibly helpful as a jogger; this way you don’t need to worry about the stroller going off your trail or out of your control. You can easily stop the stroller if need be. Not only is it easy to use, but if the hand brake is not at the right position for you, you can actually reposition this so that you have a more comfortable grip. This can be very helpful if you have multiple people in your family using the stroller! You are able to customize the position to every person that wants to give your little ones a push.

Runners know that one of the most important features in a jogging stroller is whether the front wheel swivels or can lock in order to provide safety to the jogger and passenger. The Summit x3 Double can do both with the flip of a switch! It offers a lock on the back of the front wheel and lets you toggle between swivel mode and a locked position for the front wheel. This way, you can use the locked position while jogging and utilize the swivel mode during casual walks or outings.

The Summit x3 Double also provides comfort to your children by providing a padded seat built with them in mind. Both seats have a five point harness with shoulder pads that are adjustable for varying sizes and ages. You can have both a toddler and infant in the stroller at the same time and both will be comfortable!

The two seats recline to an almost flat position which can be helpful when you are out and one (or both) of your children need a little rest. You can easily use the elastic straps to slowly release the seat reclining feature so that your child can be laying down. Not only does it have the reclining seat to make them comfortable, it also has rear vents to keep them cool. The air can circulate easily from the front of the stroller and through the back to create an ideal situation for a warm day. A retractable weather cover protects the vents due to rain or other weather situations.

It also boasts a UV 50+ sun canopy that keeps your little ones cool and comfortable on the hottest of days! Is one of your children sleeping and the other wants to see the sights? The Summit x3 has kept this in mind; each side of the stroller has its own canopy so you may adjust each to different positions for each child.

The canopy also has a peek-a-boo window on the top of each canopy to keep an eye on both of them during strolls. They can easily be closed by using the Velcro corners so to shade them on very sunny days. Each has side vents in order to let more air circulate throughout the stroller.

The Summit x3 also has many other details that make this easy to take everywhere. It not only has an under seat compartment, but also two seat back storage compartments as well! This helps when you have double the gear for two children’s needs.

When you have two small kids with you, the last thing you want to worry about is folding up a stroller. As with all their models, Baby Jogger took this into consideration when designing the Summit x3 Double. This stroller features Baby Jogger’s patented quick fold technology. You pull up on two straps within the seat of the stroller and it folds quickly to store. It is compact and can easily fit in a rear trunk of almost any vehicle! Before folding, it has a rear parking brake to help keep it steady to close and to be sure it is stopped when you open the next time!

The Baby Jogger Summit x3 Double is the perfect stroller for two. It is a stroller that really can fit every parent and their changing needs!

Not only does the Summit x3 Double have fantastic features, it also has a huge array of accessories to use while out and about. What can help you during your day? Choose what you need to customize your stroller.
