Seasons of teething can be stressful enough without worrying about what might be in those store-bought biscuits. However, it’s also not a time when you want to be spending a long time in the kitchen. This easy recipe includes just a few ingredients, can be thrown together quickly, and allows you to save even more time time by using store-bought purees. It results in a biscuit that your little one can happily gnaw on for some time!
Ingredients:
- 1 c steel-cut oats, ground finely in a blender or clean coffee grinder
- Generous sprinkle of cinnamon
- Small sprinkle of ginger
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 pouch Ella’s Kitchen Banana Puree
- 1/2 pouch Plum Organics Pumpkin & Banana Puree
The batter will have a runny consistency and to get them hard enough for hurting teeth, they must be baked in a 200 degree oven for at least 90 minutes 0r more to harden.
They can be refrigerated or frozen for even more soothing power.
So I’m a little confused.. Do you take the batter and make it into balls before baking? Or is it so liquidy that you just pour it onto a cookie sheet? Or what? 😛
