Highlights of 2013
In the beginning of 2013, a handful of moms and moms-to-be came together to create a space dedicated to sharing tips & tricks and inspiration & information about all things motherhood. In March, countless hours of hard work (and fun) culminated in the launch of Daily Mom. To celebrate, our 50 Days of Giveaways followed shortly at the beginning of April.
Readers won fantastic prizes ranging from our favorite clothes for nursing to high chairs to baby monitors. At the end of April we recognized Infertility Awareness Week to raise awareness about the struggles many women face trying to conceive.
In May we had a blast with our first month of daily photo challenges on Instagram and also celebrated Mother’s Day, followed by Father’s Day in June. Several of our writers packed their bags and set out to report on beautiful destinations to spend summertime vacations.
By July summertime fun was in full-swing and we shared 50 of our favorite things to do with your family during the summer.

With September came the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year. September was also Baby and Toddler Safety Awareness month and we hosted a huge safety giveaway for toddlers followed by a baby safety giveaway in October.

The end of summer yielded to autumn weather and our Daily Moms shared their favorite autumn photo ideas, Fall bucket list, and ways to celebrate Halloween. Several of our editors also traveled to Las Vegas for the 2013 Annual ABC Kids Expo to get a sneak peek of upcoming products and trends.
November marked the start of the holiday season. To celebrate Thanksgiving, we shared delicious recipes, planning tips, DIY decor, and holiday travel tips.
During the month of December our writers created the ultimate stress-free holiday planning guide for the Christmas holiday. Daily Mom writers also worked hard putting together gift guides for the 2013 season to help make holiday shopping a little easier.
